Devonian miospores, megaspores; Carboniferous, Triassic, Jurassic, Cretaceous and Tertiary miospores, taxonomy, biostratigraphy and paleoecology; dinoflagellate and acritarch biostratigraphy, Pleistocene geology-palynology, stratigraphy; clastic sedimentology.
Much of this work has been conducted in the Canadian Arctic and Alberta.
