research interests
  • numerical simulation of biodegradation of petroleum in deep subsurface reservoirs
  • regional fluid flow systems active in sedimentary basins, which cause formation of economic ore deposits, charging of petroleum reservoirs and regional alteration of carrier rocks
  • tectonic evolution of basins and its effect on fluid flow systems
  • organic geochemistry of oils in Alberta tar sands and the timing of their emplacement
